This tea is absolutely the perfect refreshing summer drink! You can make it with whatever green tea you like but I highly recommend using one with a very light flavor so that the mint can really shine through. It’s important to add lots of ice while it’s still hot to dilute the tea and chill the drink. I strained out the mint leaves before serving but you can leave them in (the flavor will intensify though).
I’ve had varieties of this with muddled lime, a splash of sparkling water, or both which is fantastic! You could also add strawberries or raspberries for a different twist! :)
